MODELING FOR THE CALCULATION OF THE LUPĚNÉ RAILROAD BRIDGE RESPONSE TO THE CROSSING OF THE ENGINE

Abstract

This paper describes the modeling process of the superstructure of the Lupìné railroad bridge and a testing railroad vehicle. Static and the dynamic loading tests were conducted on this structure. All components of the bridge/vehicle dynamic system were modeled to achieve the best conformity of theoretical and experimental response. The bridge structure was modeled with the FEM ( beam and shell elements ).
