In this paper there are described the technique and the results of the experimental modal analysis of the slab road bridge of prestressed concrete across Radbuza river at Pilsen town. The estimated modal parameters (frequencies and modes of natural vibration) of the investigated bridge were used for the verification of the suitability of the bridge FEM model. The experimentally - estimated modal parameters of the bridge were used further direct for the apposite calculation of the response of this bridge under dynamic even static load.
