In this paper there are described the author’s experiences with state analyses of engineering structures on basis of experimentally determinate modal characteristics. The suitability of changes of natural frequencies, coefficients COMAC and modal flexibility matrixes is documented especially by results of several studies of monitoring of modal characteristics change of simple structural elements and several road bridges.
